This is in response to concerns about payment of superannuation entitlements.
First and foremost, we want to confirm in writing that Zonda and its current owners are fully compliant with all legal obligations under Australian super guarantee laws.
Unfortunately, there appears to be confusion between our entities and others that were owned by GVB Operations Pty Ltd, formerly known as Zonda People. GVB Operations Pty Ltd, along with its historical operations, have no connection to Zonda Global or the ongoing business under the Zonda brand.
The current owners acquired some of GVB Operations Pty Ltd’s assets in October 2024. But importantly, Zonda Group Pty Ltd (NSW, SA, WA, NT, Tas) and Elevate Careers Pty Ltd (QLD and VIC) only commenced trading in January 2024 and March 2024. GVB Operations Pty Ltd was placed into liquidation in March 2024.
Any entitlements owed by GVB Operations Pty Ltd are the legal responsibility of the previous owners. Any enquiries regarding GVB Operations Pty Ltd should be directed to: JLA Insolvency at nelson@jlainsolvency.com.au.
In light of factual circumstances, we respectfully ask that any comments about GVB Operations Pty Ltd be attributed to “GVB Operations”.
To avoid defaming our company and unfairly damaging the reputation of our business and the loyal candidates who work with us. Providing misleading information is not only unjust but also harmful to our operations, and we take this matter very seriously. We will defend our reputation if required and seek damages if needed.
To be clear, the current owners are fully committed to paying employee entitlements for all our legal entities. We acknowledge that some payments have been delayed due to challenges we inherited. To ensure full transparency we have notified the ATO. We are also paying interest to the ATO until the amounts are fully paid into individual accounts.
